MARELD Mäster is a hand-built 5W Class A tube amplifier based on the 1957 Fender Tweed Champ. Built point-to-point in Stockholm with no compromises, using only the finest available components. Transformers from Hammond, capacitors from Sprague, tubes from T.A.D., etc.
It features a Jensen 8” speaker, a finger-jointed birch plywood cabinet covered in red-and-white striped waxed fabric, and a silver Fender-style grille cloth.
The amp runs one 12AX7 in the preamp stage, one 6V6 in the power stage, and a 5Y3 rectifier tube.
A small and lightweight amplifier that delivers an incredible amount of tone and volume for its size. A studio favorite, yet perfectly capable for rehearsals and smaller gigs.
